Privacy Policy
WatchlyGuide ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed when you visit watchlyguide.com, on what legal basis, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who We Are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for processing on this website is:
MEDIASERVERE LTD
7, Coronation Road, Dephna House
London NW10 7PQ, United Kingdom
Company Number: 16540150
Email: [email protected]
For full company and disclosure details, see our Legal Notice (Impressum).
2. What We Collect
We keep it minimal. This is a static website:
- No account, no tracking cookies set by us. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.
- Server logs: our web server (Caddy) may temporarily process technical data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — strictly for security, debugging and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are routinely rotated and not used to profile visitors.
- Email: if you email us, we process your address and message content to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed.
3. Third Parties
- Cloudflare, Inc. — our site is delivered through Cloudflare's CDN and security network. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses to route traffic and mitigate attacks, and may set strictly necessary security cookies (e.g. bot protection). Cloudflare processes EU data under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Affiliate partners — some outbound links (e.g. Amazon, VPN providers) are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set cookies to attribute a purchase to us. This happens on their domain, under their privacy policy — we receive aggregate commission data only (no names, no addresses). See our Affiliate Disclaimer.
- Analytics — we currently use no visitor analytics. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, this policy will be updated first.
4. Your GDPR Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17);
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- Data portability (Art. 20);
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
- Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (Art. 77).
To exercise any of these rights, email[email protected]. We respond within one month as required by the GDPR. In practice, we hold very little — usually nothing — about individual visitors.
5. Data Retention & Security
Server logs are kept only briefly for security purposes and then deleted. Email correspondence is deleted when no longer needed. The site is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS).
6. Children
Our content is not directed at children under 16, and we knowingly collect no data from them.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, if we add analytics). The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
